Eccelsa Aviation operates a dedicated private and executive aviation terminal of about 5,000 square metres at Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport. Opened in summer 2009, the building features the functionality of a well-structured FBO terminal combined with original and harmonious architectural characteristics reminiscent of elegant private aviator clubs. The deployment of local building materials – like the San Giacomo yellowish stones – and the lush local vegetation serve to integrate what is architecturally conceived as an “undefined-space” to the local context.

Patrons of Eccelsa Aviation are offered a wide range of services including:

PRIVATE PARKING
Over 150 private parking spaces reserved exclusively to Eccelsa Aviation customers; complimentary valet parking available on-spot on request.

COVERED ENTRANCE & PORTER SERVICE
Terminal entrance sheltered from adverse weather conditions and midday sun with porter service for departing and arriving passengers’ luggage.

RECEPTION
Passenger transit at Eccelsa Aviation is kept as smooth as possible by a personalised reception service assisting with police and custom controls, and all other travel requirements whenever needed.

OPERATION
Crew can get flight packages, up-dates, meteo & notams, ask for extra-handling services, and settle handling charges & taxes at the operation desk located in a dedicated area just a few steps away from the reception desk so as to keep an eye on all passenger traffic while getting ready for flying.

BUSINESS CENTER
Available on request to passengers and crew, the two private meeting rooms ofEccelsa Aviation’s Business centre can accommodate up to 12 people and are equipped with the latest audio/visual equipment.

CREW LOUNGE
A dedicated lounge located right next to the reception area with view on the internal summer patio and the apron allows for the perfect balance of relaxation and passengers’ contact. Complimentary Wi-Fi and Satellite TV are available as well as a selection of the latest edition of Aviation Magazines.

CREW SNOOZE ROOM
Crew finding the lounge too noisy are offered the opportunity to relax in a separate snooze room located on the first floor. A summer terrace equipped with chaise-longues is also available.

PASSENGER LOUNGE & SUMMER PATIO
A large and comfortable passenger lounge is conveniently located besides the lounge bar and a few steps away from the entrance area so as to be shielded from excessive noise. Complimentary Wi-Fi and Satellite TV are available as well as a selection of the latest edition of Aviation, Sailing, and Fashion Magazines. A summer patio offers relaxation and doubles up as quiet smoking area.

SHOPPING OPPORTUNITIES
Visitors of Eccelsa Aviation can shop for the latest Italian fashion, Eyewear, Jewellery, and Food & Wines.
A local Bombardier Dealer Office lets passengers shop for the latest personalized Global 7000 or Global 8000 as well.

DINING OPPORTUNITIES
A lounge bar with summer terrace serving beverages and hot and cold meals is available on the ground floor while a restaurant with local and international cuisine offers visitors of Eccelsa Aviation the opportunity to taste a full meal while enjoying the view over the apron and all incoming and departing aircraft.

VVIP LOUNGE
A glass passage connects the GA terminal with a small VVIP area with separate waiting facilities. Passengers making use of this exclusive area have a separate entrance that guarantees the highest level of privacy and will be boarded under an “S”-shaped rooftop offering refreshing shade during hot summer days.

POLICE & CUSTOM CLEARANCE
Eccelsa Aviation offers on-site police and custom clearance for all of its flights as well as certification of Tax Refund forms.

FBO
Did you know that Eccelsa Aviation is one of only four FBOs operating in Italy - the others being Rome Ciampino, Milan Linate, and Florence?
The amount of identity and specialization of services offered on an all-year-round term means that Eccelsa Aviation is more that a simple General Aviation.

HANDLING SERVICES
Aircraft handling provided in LIEO includes, but is not limited to:
- Control, supervision and physical assistance of the boarding/unboarding of passengers
- Control, supervision and physical assistance of the loading/unloading of luggage and other materials
- Parking
- Assurance of constant safety conditions of all operations
- Assistance in the coordination of refuelling
- Basic technical assistance
- Slot coordination (where applicable)
