"SCORRABOI CON NOI 2025" XII^ Edition
A walk through culture and music.
12th Edition
December 8 – 9:30 am
San Giovanni Evangelista
Scorraboi with us, the traditional December 8th walk combining culture, nature, and good music, is back again this year.
In Gallura, the day was called Madonna di Scorraboi because it was said that no work should be done, lest the oxen lose their horns if they were used.
This historic event, now in its twelfth year, is organized in collaboration with Nonsolotrekking.
The morning will begin with a walk accessible to all, taking in evocative views and stories linked to the history and traditions of the area. Our ten-year-old guide, Giuseppe Deiana of ASD Nonsolotrekking, will accompany us, and his experience will amaze us with the choice of routes that will make the experience even more special.
From the quiet of the little church of San Giovanni, we'll set off towards one of the most captivating landscapes in northeastern Sardinia.
Soon, as we begin our hike, the granite towers of San Pantaleo will provide our backdrop throughout our journey. Despite their modest altitude, they stand out like a mighty mountain, sculpted by wind and light.
Each step will lead us into a multiplicity of shapes and colors, in a landscape that defies uniformity and invites wonder.
Upon our return, there's a celebration with music and dancing by the Terzo Tempo band, in a convivial and joyful atmosphere.
Afterwards, we'll have lunch together to end the day in good company.
A perfect opportunity to enjoy a morning in the open air, share emotions, and rediscover the area in a fun and cultural way. We look forward to seeing you!
Reservations required on Eventbrite or www.archiviomariocervo.it

We recommend wearing clothing suitable for a day outdoors and suitable walking shoes. The Archive's activities are supported by ISRE, the Fondazione di Sardegna, and the Patronage of the Municipality of Olbia. The walk is type T = Tourist – Itinerary on narrow roads, mule tracks, or wide paths. The routes are generally not long, present no orientation problems, and do not require any specific training other than that typical of walking.
