Jean Córdova: "Epifania di un'astrazione. L'inaspettato 'errore' che spazza il luogo comune"

Saturday 9 September 2023 starting at 17:00 my next personal exhibition will be inaugurated in Olbia in the rooms of the Archaeological Museum (https://www.helloolbia.com/museo-archeologico-olbia/), a selection of pictorial works and partly sculptural, entitled "Jean Córdova: Epiphany of an abstraction. The unexpected 'error' that sweeps away the cliché", curated by Emanuela Cicu, archaeologist, art historian, and professor of art history at the Fabrizio De André artistic and musical high school in Olbia, and Christian Bolt painter, sculptor and honorary professor of sculpture at the Academy of Design Arts in Florence as well as owner of the Atelier Bolt in Klosters in Switzerland (https://www.bolt .ch/atelier-bolt).
A selection of works will be presented in the halls of the Archaeological Museum divided into three thematic sections in dialogue with each other. The first section corresponding to the Architecture-Nature-Labyrinths Series was created between 2008 and 2011; the other two entirely unpublished sections consist of the "Hybris" and "Landscapes" series painted between 2019 and 2023 (both still under construction).
During the inauguration, the curators of the exhibition and of the catalog (little book) Emanuela Cicu and Christian Bolt will intervene.
