European J/24 Championship 2024, organized by the YCCS in collaboration with the International Class and the Italian J/24 Class. The Notice of Race is online and can be consulted by clicking here.
The event, open to all J/24 boats, is scheduled from 10 to 16 June. It will open on the evening of June 12th with the Skipper Briefing followed by the Welcome Cocktail on the YCCS panoramic terrace. Starting from June 13th and until the 16th, a total of 10 regattas are scheduled, with a maximum of four races per day.
The J/24 monotype is among the most popular keelboats, it was designed in the late 1970s by Rod Johnstone and to date it is estimated that over 5000 units have been produced with around 100 active fleets internationally. The J/24 European Championship represents a highly anticipated event in the 2024 season of the Class and the YCCS is delighted to be able to welcome a fleet that has significantly contributed to the spread of sport sailing.
